Privacy Policy

VetAmi Consult is an online veterinary consultation booking service, operated as part of the VetAmi platform in Pakistan. This policy explains what information we collect when you book a consultation, how we use it, and who it's shared with.

VetAmi Consult does not require you to create an account. Bookings are made directly through this website using only the details you choose to share.

When you book a consultation, we collect:

• Your name — so the vet knows who they're speaking with
• Your WhatsApp number — so the vet can contact you and so we can send booking updates or refunds
• A description of your pet's concern — shared with the vet to prepare for your consultation
• Booking details — the vet selected, date, status, and amount paid

We do not require an account, email address, or password to use VetAmi Consult.

We use the information you provide only to:

• Match you with the vet you selected and share your concern with them
• Confirm your booking and payment
• Contact you about your booking, including reassignment or refunds if needed
• Respond to feedback or support requests
• Improve VetAmi Consult and our vet network

Consultation fees are paid directly to VetAmi's verified EasyPaisa account. We do not collect or store your EasyPaisa account number, PIN, or any other payment credentials.

To confirm payment, you send us a screenshot of your transaction receipt via WhatsApp. This screenshot is used only to verify your booking and is not used for any other purpose.

VetAmi Consult uses WhatsApp to connect you with your vet, send booking confirmations, and handle support requests. WhatsApp is operated by Meta, and messages sent through it are subject to WhatsApp's own privacy policy in addition to this one.

Your phone number is shared with the vet assigned to your booking so they can contact you for your consultation.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We share data only with:

• Your assigned vet — receives your name, phone number, and the concern you described, in order to provide your consultation
• Supabase — our database provider, used to securely store booking information
• WhatsApp (Meta) — used to deliver booking confirmations and enable communication with your vet and our support team

We do not share your data with advertisers or government agencies, beyond what may be required by Pakistani law.

Booking information is stored on Supabase infrastructure with access restrictions in place. All data transmission between your browser and our systems is encrypted via HTTPS.

We retain booking details for as long as needed to provide the service, handle refund requests, and resolve any disputes, after which they may be removed from active systems.

You have the right to:

• Ask what information we hold about a booking you made
• Request correction of inaccurate booking details
• Request deletion of your booking information

VetAmi Consult is not directed at children under 13, and bookings should be made by an adult on behalf of their household. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of VetAmi Consult after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
